I forgot this one

Finished this today too.
Did the harebell loose her girdle
To the lover bee,
Would the bee the harebell hallow
Much as formerly?

I love how you have included the verse in your painting. Poetry is wonderful stuff - painting with words i call it.

When I was a little girl my mom, who is no longer with us, used to tell me how much she loved Emily D...there is a poem the one about death and the buzzing fly in the room..Later when I traveled to Maine to school I studied poems and poetry. Is till love Emily D.--perhaps because she reminds me of my mother and those years in Maine. Your painting is lovely...
