Petrified rat found in the wall and the kitchen totally getting torn out. There was a check from 1928 in his nest for $3.85 written to the City of Tacoma.
How lovely that you will get a new kitchen. I love that gold wall and your painting on it. Beautiful combo. That would look nice in a kitchen. Inspirational and calming. Sort of the best of both worlds. Wonderful to see your work again.
That is Soooooo Cool. About the petrified rat and the check to the city of Tacoma. I think they belong in a museum. The Tacoma City Museum. :) I'm serious. Is your house, or will it be, on the National Historic Registrar? I have no idea what the requirements are but, it all seems to fit, and all because of a petrified rat with a check.
Jeanne, the yellow wall is at Starbucks, I'm going to have gray in my new kitchen, with white cabinets... Michelle, we are out of the district of historical register by 4 or 5 blocks. But it makes the remodel a little easier. I should have sent the rat and the check with Ishi. :)
