How we are living

As if it were not difficult enough to live without a kitchen, I made it much harder by deciding to go Vegan after watching the documentary, Forks Over Knives. Dave took the week off, and there is a lot of work going on but they are both hungry all the time. I've made black bean tacos twice, a veg soup, a veg chili, tofu "sour cream" also a lentil salad that was a bust and baked apples, in 3 days! With no sink and only one burner. I have to do the dishes camping style. But it will all be worth it when I am cooking in my new kitchen, right?

I bet one day you will look back at doing dishes camp style and cooking with only one burner, was all worth it and it will be far in the past as soon as you can start to enjoy the new kitchen... So much to look forward too (I still want to do much in mine, and so far too go, at least you have the end in sight : )

Love the colours of the walls!!

These are the times Kiddo when you will look back when you're my age, and realize that they really were the best of times! Nothing makes us appreciate what we have more than remembering how hard we worked to get them:) Cheers! And Happy Day After Thanksgiving:)

Love those dining room chairs. I remember when our kitchen was mostly in our dining room! This too shall pass. Cheers!

It's really not bad, and since my husband and son are plumbers, only had to be without a sink for 5 days.
Thanks for all the atta girls!
