Week 23 Limited Edition Print 5x7 Shipwrecked

I'm late with the print this week. I had a rough week, The worst part was another root canal on that same tooth,(#3) through the gum, too terrible to even describe, really. I have seven stitches in my gum. 'nuff said?

I really struggled with this painting. It was suggested by Micki Wilde.

I did the sketch while we were camping a couple weeks ago, but the girls face just would not come out. I finally realized that I was painting a happy face when there should be some concern on her face. I think it should be really called, "The Lighthouse Keepers Daughter, 2"

Anyway, I hope I will feel better this week and my print will be up at the regular time next week. Plus, there will be a giveaway next week.

I am so sorry to hear about your tooth. I am going through a similar thing at the moment. I got a root canal on my back molar a couple of weeks ago, but now it is infected and it is causing the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I am going to get it pulled this week, so I will prob have stitches too :(

Your painting is lovely and I hope your tooth heals well.

I really like how it turned out! Love her face! I am so sorry to hear about your tooth problem--there is nothing worse! I think humans should evolve a little to keep up with our increasing longevity and we should all loose our teeth in our 40's and get a brand spankin' new set! It would become common to see a 42 year old with her two front teeth out and everyone would go, "AWW, Cute", like they do when you are 6 years old--then by the time you are 50 you would have a great new healthy set! I guess I'm crazy, ha ha

I love her face. And indeed, she should be concerned.

HI everyone, Thanks for the good wishes for my tooth. It's still hurting but hopefully getting better. I see the Dr tomorrow and we'll see.
I hope yours went better than mine, Michelle! And Cris, you really want to go through teething again? Yikes!
