Queen Enid

I've had a cold for a few days, this is the first day I have felt like painting for a week, but here is my new queen painting. I started her at 99 cents on ebay. She's painted on canvas paper, and will need to be framed but I think she's so cute.

The dogs

These are our dogs. Zoe will be 5 on January 1, and Flight is 4. We've had Flight since we adopted her from a greyhound rescue last February, and we've had Zoe since she was a puppy.

Rain and Cold!

Gosh, what a dreary day today and so cold! It felt good to get home to my warm house and my doggies. I'll have to post a picture of the doggies soon, we have Zoe, dachshund, and Flight the greyhound. When they see us walking, the most common comment is, "that's a funny combination!" I think it's the best of both worlds, the little and the big, the barky and the non-barky. The long and the short of it.

I have not painted for a couple of days, but I'm posting another floral I did a few months ago to go with the one I have listed on ebay now. I'll list it soon.

Listed the Goose Maiden

I just listed my goose maiden painting that I did progress shots of awhile ago on my blog. Hopefully, the geese look like geese and not snakes now, thanks, Kelsi.

Progress shots

I'm working on a new painting. It's another Bird Love. 12x16 on masonite. I'm entranced with painting on smooth slick surfaces.

I spent the morning looking at ornament books, nouveau stuff, wanting very much to include them in backgrounds, but not really sure how I want to do it yet. Sometimes you just have to work and the solution comes.
